Privacy Policy

What data we collect

Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link. This is the only personal identifier we store.

Usage counts — we track how many prompts you generate per day. We record a number only — no prompt content is ever saved.

Platform and model choices — we log which AI platform you selected (for example “Claude” or “ChatGPT”) and which model, without any associated prompt content. This is product analytics only.

Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the app is used. This includes page views, session duration, and device type. All data is anonymised before it reaches Google.

What we do NOT collect

We never store your prompt content. The text you type or speak is processed in memory to build your prompt and is never written to any database. Once you close the browser tab, it is gone.

We never sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

We never use your data for advertising or share it with advertising networks.

Why we collect it

Your email address allows us to authenticate you and scope your saved prompts to your account. Without it, there is no way to identify you across sessions.

Usage counts exist to enforce the daily free limit and display your remaining credits. We need to know how many prompts you have generated today in order to apply the limit fairly.

Platform and model logs help us understand which AI tools our users prefer. This is anonymised product analytics — it helps us decide which platforms and models to prioritise in future updates.

Google Analytics data helps us understand how people navigate the app so we can improve the experience. We use this to see which steps have the highest drop-off, which features are used most, and how the app performs on different devices.

Data storage

Your email address and usage data are stored in Supabase, hosted in the EU region. We chose an EU-based data store specifically to keep personal data within the European Economic Area.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google on their own infrastructure. For details on how Google handles this data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU to any third party under our control.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to measure page performance and user engagement. Vercel collects anonymised usage data (page views, Web Vitals metrics, and general geographic region) but does not collect personally identifiable information. Data is processed by Vercel Inc. in accordance with GDPR. You can review Vercel's privacy practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days.

Right to deletion — you can request that your account and all associated data be permanently deleted. We will action this within 30 days and confirm when done.

Right to correction — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data we hold about you.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie to keep you signed in. This is a Supabase session cookie and is strictly necessary for the app to work. It is set when you sign in and cleared when you sign out.

Google Analytics uses cookies to track usage across sessions. These are analytics cookies, not advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by using your browser's cookie settings or installing a Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.
